The aim of JELB is to publish highly impactful research related to experiential education as it relates to business and related disciplines. Both academic and practitioner-oriented papers are welcome for submission. JELB is guided by the purpose of ABSEL. To that end, the question guiding the decision of the editorial board to accept a manuscript for publication is,
“Does this research promote and advance our understanding of business education through effective and/or creative use of experiential learning?”
JELB will consider all articles pertaining to effective design and implementation of experiential instruction. The journal is open to all approaches of scholarly inquiry. Topics welcome for submission to JELB include, but are not limited to – conceptual/theoretical frameworks on experiential education, new insights into experiential pedagogy and assessment, empirically-based analysis of the application of experiential learning in business, etc. The purpose of JELB is to provide resources that promote the effective use of experiential learning and serve as a forum for disseminating best practices and new insights.
